Sunday Guest selfies from Woodside!

Hello and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world and across the species.

To add your own selfie, just download the linky link from their site, and join the fun!

Here are this week's selfies, which come from my alma mater, Woodside Animal Centre.....

Please give a big Sunday Selfies welcome to Millie and Mollie, two delightful black and white shorthair, bonded sisters.

We met them when we visited last week, and Mollie asked if she and her shy sister could take a selfie, or two, to show themselves off to the world. After all, it's not too often a feline gets to be seen quite literally across the globe!

Millie and Mollie are two of Woodside Animal Centre's longer stay cats who, though circumstance only, have found themselves in need of another loving home. We hope that folk will look beyond their not-so-old age of thirteen, and open their hearts and bring this instant family into their lives and home.

Millie......
Sweet but shy Millie
This is Millie, a very sweet lady who is a little shy at the moment, as she is still adjusting to being here at the shelter.

Once you get to know her, and she you, the team here say she really opens up and adores her time being fussed over, especially chin scritches.

Millie asked ever so quietly if she could take a slightly demur pose this week. Of course how could we refuse one so sweet and so set it all up for her and then drew the privacy curtain and let her get comfortable and take the picture.  I think she did rather well, don't you?

PS. She also wanted to stress her pose had nothing to do with the view of the food just outside her cosy den!

You can see and read more on Millie, HERE.

                                                              Mollie.....
Mollie, shy but ready and looking for her new family...

Mollie, like her sister Millie, is still settling into being at Woodside. After all, a big move and new neighbours take a while to get used to, even for humans, right?

She said she loves to sit and watch the world outside her pod, and the visitors as they come to say hello. She hopes that soon one of those visitors will take her and her sister home, too.

Mollie loves a fuss, and if you have the time and can share a few moments to let her have a proper sniff, you'll be rewarded with lots of love.

As Millie had done a demure style selfie this week, Mollie was keen to show off her sparkling, searching emerald eyes, and a fine array of whiskers. I have to say I think she scores very well for one so shy. Just think what a new life and new home will bring...

What do you all think?

You can read more about Mollie, HERE.

Mollie and Millie, two fun sisters in need of a home.
Mollie and Millie need to be adopted together and would like a quiet, adult only home, where they will be given the chance to come back out of their shells.

The lucky family will be rewarded for their patience with their love and affection.

All Woodside cats receive a thorough medical exam as part of their stay.

There is an adoption fee of £70 each, BUT this includes the cost vaccinations, preventative de-fleaing and worming treatments, full veterinary examination, microchipping, AND four weeks free Pet Plan Pet Insurance. I have that and it's great!

Why not come and visit Woodside and say hello to these delightful sisters, and give them the time and opportunity to show and share their love...
