Having Fun at a Dog Water Park

A while back Lee Ann McIntire from McIntire Mountain Golden’s invited us to the one year anniversary of her first litter’s birth.  The puppies’ momma is Baylee.  Baylee was from our Tina’s first litter with Olaf.  Which makes Tina a grandmother.  Time flies by so quickly.  The one year reunion took place at Country Kennels in Murrieta.

Country Kennels has a big pool that you can rent for dog groups.  I’ve been wanting to go for a while, but finally had the chance to go.  I took Tina as well as our future stud Glacier.  It was fun to see the grandchildren from Tina.  Many of them look so much like Olaf with their blocky heads and long coats.  Theo, their daddy can be seen heavily in a couple too.

Tina has been in the water before, although Glacier has never been in the water other than a small kiddy pool at home.  So he got his first experience of me dunking him in.  I did get him to swim a couple times without me pushing him in.  I’m sure after enough times he’ll be flying in all the time.

Glacier

Everyone got treats while there, although Glacier was one of the few who was not all too interested.  Strange, because I didn’t feed him so that he wouldn’t get car sick.  I would have sworn he would have gobbled it down.  Baylee and Bentlee got to have extras.

Baylee (Momma)

A few things did happen while I was there.  Jolene got into a car accident while I was away.  So that was no bueno.  Luckily it wasn’t too bad.  Tina somewhere stood on something hot near the pool and burnt two of her feet.  We could tell she was in pain.  Two of her pads were blistered and peeling off.  Also, Glacier was overly interested in a girl there that just finished her heat.  We ended up leaving early so everyone could enjoy their time there.  So I didn’t get as many photos as I had wanted.  However, I did get a few and these are them below.  I will get some videos up as well after I post them to Instagram.

Tina (Grandma)

Anyway, we wish everyone there the best with their pups.  They look beautiful.
