America's VetDogs My Story!

VETERAN'S K-9 CORPS
What exactly is America's VetDogs?
In the grocery stores, and other places, I've seen a cute dog logo on products, a statement they will donate a percentage  towards this organization. The America's VetDogs. I knew what this organization does, do you? My own take on what really happens.
"To help those who have service our country honorably live with dignity and independence."
A very powerful words to state by a company.Do they deliver?I've seen one of their dogs named “Charlie" on some news channel here, and there. My is, educating the public, following the dog until he goes to a deserving Veteran.
That would be such an awesome story to the end. I would want to see a deserving Veteran on national TV, knowing how we have watched this dog, grow from a puppy, into a service dog. I know I would, it hits a personal note with me.
Now since all the wondering and thinking, why in the world should I buy these products. Why should I really care? Why should you care?I think you should already know why the great reason!
All the service men, and women who have put their life on the line for our great USA, protecting our rights, giving up their lives, and praying they make it home to their loved ones.
Do we really care?I do hope so! I still have the belief in human mankind we really care about people. We want to help people. Some here are just a few examples service men and women come back, and need help. To do this first we need to understand why.
The leading cause of death for Veterans, is suicide. Not months, but each day. I don't believe in the  numbers the Veteran Administrationcame up with, the number are false, a higher number of deaths with in the Veteran community.
The VA did a very bias research. For on the age range only went to 35, Afghanistan, and Iraq.  We all know there were a lot more than these two wars, not counting 911.
What Are The Needs?
A service dog, the needing of comfort, clearing theroom, waking them up from a night terror, giving the Veteran some peace of mind, needing to pick up something off the floor but cant. A veteran in a wheel chair, who can't open doors, turn on lights, or need to be pulled. even able to  retrieve medication every day to keep the Veteranalive. These are just some of the many examples this nonprofit organization helps Veterans with training dogs.
A service dog can help out Veterans able to function with the help, love and care. The Veteran also needs a positive support system.
as far the in my opinion, have a service dog. With America's VetDogs, they helpALL Veterans!I wished I could say, there were more like this one. A Veteran myself, the wait can be from a year, or 4 years to see if we can express how much a service dog, trained by a reputable organization, can change out lives in many ways.
Right now I am in the progress of filling out the application. I am waiting on my doctor, hopefully this week it will be completed. And of course, the huge yes, or no. I foundAmerica’s VetDogswhile looking for a service dog, My medical bills are through the roof, I will never have a dog, is my mind set.
I can't afford to buy one.A service dogs cost from 7,000 for basic, all the way to 25,00 or more, depending on what the dog is training for, not even the up-keep.
I know these four walls are suffocating me.Sometimes the pain, the instability of walking, or just the PTSD. which causes anxiety and dreams. The TBI from two brain surgeries, therapy can only work so much.
I miss my friends, I used to be the life of the ball. Everyone wanted to be around me. Going out to the stores, headed to a baseball game, maybe catch a movie, a romantic dinner, all those Wonderful things are gone in my world. If's just God, and a wonderful husband, who never complains.
I want to live again.I was bitter for a while . I wanted to write how bad I was scammed, who she is. I though delete it all, and have put it in Gods hands. If I allow this lady to rent space in my brain, I know it will bring me to a dark side.
It hurts,as I sit here, wondering when someone will hear my story and help me. I am not crazy, just have been so close to my life dreams, the life I used to have. Yes she took the money, I though got to believe something good will come out of this.
Why am writing this today?I myself have to let go from this woman hurting me, a petty con-artist who gives no compassion for humans or her dogs.
I have to believein something good, with all the bad that has happen to me, I will get a chance of life again! Will they help me? This part I do not know. They have had patience with me, over the application. I had not received it, one I misplaced.
The process is a long one, but to be expected, worth every second to try for one of the precious service dogs. The hope is there.I am sure they get tons of stories like mine, overwhelmed, more Veterans which need a service dog STAT, due to their injuries, or PTSD, I completely understand.
Just remember, by supportingthis wonderful organization, not begging you for money, because you get whatever you want to buy for the same price!
There are so many companies out there who are willing to give to this wonderful place to give each Veteran they can a service dog. They sure try their best. I know this in my heart.
I know maybe there may be a Veteran who needs it more than me.I though can tell you, no excuse for you to give now. You get to buy, support the program, so each one has a chance at life. Only you can decide if you are willing to help a Veteran.
If you don't like a product, I highly doubt that, Amazon gives a percentage. To see the stores that participateI am sure you can find what you want, who doesn't love Amazon? These stores are the ones you shop every day at. Walmart, Sam's Club, a few you will find where to shop.https://vetdogs.causenetwork.com/
Other ways, such as their store, taming the dog, doing a fundraiser. follow this link for more great information.

Below is the requirements
The first steps, apply at their website."The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs® were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance."
Not only does a service dog provide support with daily activities, it provides the motivation to tackle new challenges. There are a lot of wonderful things you will find out this site.
Go Visit The Place!
I know I spent an hour, just reading everything. Down to the kennels, you are allowed to come visit and see the whole process.I promise you, a website you will love reading and searching the many stories, and ways they are able to make this possible.
I hope you get the point through my eyes. This program tries to help out as many as they can.
Togive help each and everyone, rather a Police Officer, Firefighter, or a Veteran who has served out wonderful country. We now need to take care as much as we can, one case at a time, the cry for help, we as a nation, will run, and help each
Veterans, Police, Firefighters, should receive a service dog, not maybe, not after all the sacrifice's they have given, yes still today! The news may say the war is over, far from it my friend.
I do believeif some of the Veterans, would have gotten a dog, they would still be alive.
Go give this fine organization a look at their website. You can volunteer if you don't want to shop,or give funds. If you can't do that, the wonderful inspiring stories, how they work, will be enough to brighten up your day. Thank you for taking out your time to read my thoughts.
I had to add"Charlie"latest adventure to my blog. The basketball game, he stole the show, well, the cheerleaders to!
