Toddler Diaper Bag Essentials! Last year I posted about what was in my then 2 years old diaper bag titled Diaper Bag Essentials. Time has flown by and now I have a “threenager”. So this post is an update on what to pack in a diaper bag for a 3-year-old. I know some moms maybe at this point don’t use a diaper bag anymore, but I do.
It’s basically my go bag! I use my diaper backpack for when she is sleeping over a grandparents house or mainly going out to dinner. Sure, I could just throw a pouch in my purse and maybe a toy too, but I like to be prepared. I am not ready to just throw caution to the wind and not have these diaper bag essentials on hand.
Recently, I went to support my husband at a charity obstacle course. Having to use a port-a-potty for the first time for my daughter turned into a total disaster. She basically did not care for the Port-a-Potty (can’t blame her) and long story short, there I was walking back to my car carrying her half naked in one hand and her wet shoes and shorts in another. Joys of motherhood! Thankfully, I packed her bag and was able to clean her up and get her dressed again. So with that being said, here are my toddler diaper bag essentials!
Toddler Diaper Bag Essentials!
- 2 changes of underwear (Just in case!)
- Night time diaper (Wears diapers at night)
- Wipes
- Boogie wipes
- Change of clothes
- Night clothes (if spending the night)
- Bag of legos or magnetic shapes
- Playdough
- Snack cup (beanies, crunchies, or Cheerios)
- Veggie or fruit pouch
- Yogurt or applesauce cup, peanut butter cup
- Sippy Cup
- Toddler silverware
