Make Coloured Slime with PVA and Borax Solution at Home.
Learn how to make Coloured Slime – with Mixing PVA base solution and Slime Activator ( Borax Solution) . This Slime making activity is a Part of Yucky Science Slime Madness Kit. Watch Video for Instructions.
Materials or Supplies Required :
From Yucky Science Kit :
- Slime Base Solution (PVA)
- Slime Activiator ( Borax Solution)
- Spatula
- Pipette
- Measuring Beaker
- Wooden Spoons
- Mixing Bowls
- Manual

Steps for Instructions :
- Add few drops of water colour (of your choice) to the slime base solution (PVA solution) (Click to know the steps) already prepared and mix it with stirrer for approximately 1 minute.
- Prepare Slime Activator solution (Borax solution) in Mixing Bowl 2 . Click to Know
- Pour 25 ml of Coloured Slime Base in mixing bowl 1 using measuring beaker.
- Add 6 ml of slime activator (borax solution) using pipette.
(One Full Pipette is 3 ml) - Mix the Solution fast and hard for 2 minutes with wooden spoon. You will observe slime being formed .
- Keep mixing till slime no longer sticks to the bowl.
- Now knead the slime with your hand for approx. 1 minute.
Your Coloured Slime is Ready to Play with !
REMEMBER :
- If your slime is very sticky, you can add few more drops of borax and knead it to make the slime to your liking.
- use measuring beaker to know the volume of solution.
- Keep your Slime at rest for 30 Minutes after making for better bonding.
- Pack your Slime in Sealed Container After Play
- Dont Eat your Slime or any other Experiment.
