If you have a child who plays baseball or softball, you might be wondering what to do with all those team photos. I have a really cute way you can display them.

There’s a lot of flexibility with this baseball craft. You could display photos you’ve taken at games or even add more clothes pins to this baseball photo holder to display all those wallet-sized photos you order every season. I added a chalkboard to mine, where you can write your child’s name and number or a reminder about the next practice or game. You could leave this out if you’d rather have space for more photos. You could also use the clothespins to hang things like the game schedule or those raffle tickets you’re constantly having to sell as a team fundraiser. Very easy to make small changes to make this baseball craft your own for a cost of less than $20.

Baseball Photo Craft

Supplies

• Wooden Pallet Sign (you can make this or buy one pre-made from stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or Walmart. Mine is 17.72 x 9.84 in- size does not need to be exact)
• white paint
• red paint (Walmart currently has small bottles of craft paint for $.50)
• paint brushes
• small chalkboard (found mine in Michael’s for less than $2)
• 4 clothespins (I used  1.75 x 0.47″, again found in Michaels)
• 4 small wooden circles (found in a multi-pack at Michaels)
• Westcott Mini Hot Glue Gun (high temp)

Directions

Paint wooden pallet sign, clothes pins, and wooden circles white. You may need to apply two coats, depending on the coverage of your paint. Allow to dry.

Use a pencil to lightly draw where the red stitching will go.

Paint the red stitching on both sides of the pallet.

Paint red stitching on the 4 wooden circles (can outline this in pencil before, as well). Allow to dry.

Attach the chalkboard to the pallet using Glue Gun.

Attach the baseballs to the wooden clothespins with the Glue gun.

Attach the clothespins to the pallet using the glue gun.

About your craft supplies

The better stocked your craft closet is, the more inexpensive this craft will be to make. I needed pretty much everything, so it cost me close to $20 to make this. However, it left me with paint brushes, paint, clothespins, and wooden circles that I can use for other crafts.

Something you definitely want to have on hand is a good glue gun. I have a Westcott Hot Glue Pen and both the Low Temp Westcott Mini Hot Glue Gun and the High Temp Westcott Mini Glue Gun. They have a non-stick tip that allows for easy glue clean up and a nozzle that changes from blue to red to indicate when the gun is hot and ready for use.
