Today we would like to share a super easy Valentines Day project to do with the kids; Valentine Shell Fairies. This project is perfect to give out as gifts to the family. Add sentiments such as “Love” “Be Mine” and “Sweet” to the fairies, then give these instead of Valentine cards. All the supplies except for glue, paint and sharpies are available on our site.

So grab your supplies and lets get started with these adorable fairies created by Aubrey and Marlo.

Supplies:

• Bucket O’Sea Shells, Hygloss Products
• Butterfly Cut Out Shapes, Hygloss Products
• Red Glitter, Hygloss Products
• Foil Red Heart Stickers, Hygloss Products
• Small Foam Craft Spheres (Balls)
• Craft Glue
• Other; Craft Paint, Sharpies

Step One

Paint the shells of choice. We painted them pink and red.

Step Two

Attach the foam balls to the top of the painted shells using craft glue. Let dry.

Step Three

Draw faces onto the foam balls using sharpies and craft paint.

Step Four

Attach the shells to Butterfly Cut Outs with craft glue. Let Dry.

Step Five

Paint and glitter the butterfly cut outs. Add red foil hearts and more shells to the fairies.

You could also add sequins, various glitter colors, and twine to the fairies. What about writing sweet Valentine sentiments onto the fairies and give as Valentine gifts.
