I really encourage parents to bring their kids outside when it’s not too hot. Fresh air is always a good idea.
We usually head out and play on the back Porch but we don’t have shade so I decided use the front porch!
It doesn’t take much time or energy to create a play space outside. Sometimes less is more! Let them explore nature by touch wood railings, branches or flowers in the space. Whatever surface is new to them.
Here’s what I brought outside:
essentials:
- baby gate
- water
- diapers
- wipes
- blanket
- floor mat
for play:
- easel
- art tools
- bead maze
- books
- bubbles
- sensory stones
- activity mat
- ball
Don’t forget to keep them hydrated. apply sunscreen and always put on a hat.
