This Sunday will be my 2nd Mother’s day and I am so so happy, that I will have both babies in my arms. 

I began to think about this journey so far, and I have learned that your baby is not an image of you, they have their own identities. With their own life lessons to learn ahead of them. And naturally we want to protect them from all the bad and but we need to let them go and venture out into the world on their own. Even though Chase is only 1 I try to offer him a lot of free choice opportunities, even though it’s just simple stuff for now, but it still builds confidence and cultivates his curiosity to prepare him for life long learning. We have to mother them in a way where we recognize and support who they are. And every child you have is different and unique. Live and let them live.
