5 Reasons to Visit Kings Island This Summer

I received 4 free tickets to Kings Island in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions are 100% my own! A week ago, my friend and I loaded up our kids and headed to Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. We had five kids with us from ages 8 to 2. It was about a four-hour drive from our home in Indiana. The first night of our trip, we stayed in Indianapolis, and the second night, in Cincinnati at a Comfort Suites. I have to say that I was totally impressed with Comfort Suites by the way. A top-notch hotel at an awesome price! Here are 5 reasons to Visit Kings Island this Summer! Top family attraction I loved that Kings Island had several rides for the whole family. I can’t wait to go back in a few years because then my kids will be big enough to ride most rides without an adult. There were a few rides I was able to ride with my two younger kids. Easy to navigate Me, the person who is bad with directions, found my way around Kings Island. I was impressed that I could walk from one end of the park to another without getting lost. It was a great experience for me as I always get panicky in these situations. The water park is free with paid admission to Kings Island After we decided to call it quits at Kings Island, my family made their way over to the water park. The slides at Soak City were epic! We enjoyed going down the slides and floating around the lazy river. My only complaint was that it closed at 7, so we couldn’t be there for a long time. The roller coasters are so much fun Some of our boys were old enough to go on the coasters, so I could ride a few. I can’t wait until the boys are older and want to ride more roller coasters. I had a blast riding some of the rides as it’s been 10 years since I’ve really been on a good roller coaster. The employees rock My absolute favorite part of the whole trip to Kings Island were the employees. Although the rules were annoying, they still followed them. They were also extra nice when my kids were not tall to ride a ride. Although I was annoyed with the rules, I was thankful they stuck to them. Kings Island was an excellent adventure for my family. Although I’d still wait a few years, until my kids are older, so I can enjoy more rides. Overall, we loved it and are super thankful we had the chance to go.
