Ghosts of Portal 31

I'm happy to announce the official release of our film "Ghosts of Portal 31" . It is currently available on Amazon Prime and DVD. We hope to add more streaming outlets in the future.

Before I share some behind the scenes pictures from the film, let me fill you in on Portal 31.
Portal 31 is located in Lynch, Ky and for around 50 years it operated as a coal mine. After the coal mining part was completed, it was turned into an underground tourist attraction. We go into much more detail about this in the film.

As it was a working tourist attraction, there started being some reports of paranormal activity. Even some of the employees had some unusual things happen.  After all, this mine had experienced numerous deaths while it was a working coal mine.

So with this being in our area, we got the opportunity to not only tell and show people an awesome attraction, we also got to conduct a paranormal investigation. And let me tell you, it didn't disappoint.

With all of that said, here is the synopsis of the film, following by one of the trailers.

"Deep in the mountains of Harlan county, Kentucky is a tourist attraction unlike any other. Portal 31 located in Lynch, is an underground tour that is more than a trip back into a coal mine, it is a step back in time itself. TCF is here to learn more about portal 31, and to investigate claims of paranormal activity. Are the spirits of the miners still lurking around? Join us as we try to find out!"

Now, conducting and underground paranormal investigation did present some difficulties, but we were able to pull it off and create a quality film.

Here is a still frame of us going into the mine. It was dark and damp.

Another shot from deeper in the mine.

When we do these films, it is our goal to present the history of the area and to do that we do a lot of research. Another goal is to let people know about some very interesting places that they may not have heard of. The cherry on top is the paranormal investigation. These places do have rich histories but they are also home to a lot of paranormal activity.

Instead of rambling on, let me share some links to the films and the Facebook page. Ghosts of Portal 31 is the third film in the series. I will be adding the DVD to the Merchandise page in the near future.
