Install Recovery Console as a Boot Menu Option on your Windows XP

Normally we use the Recovery Console from the WindowsXP CDROM. But now we can install the Recovery Console into our hard disk as a Boot Menu Option and can access easyly without the XP CDROM.
Steps To Install Recovery Console
You need to insert a windows XP CDROM into the drive. The CDROM should have the same version of windows as the computer. For example if the Operating System is Windows XP service pack2 the CDROM should be service pack2.

Login to the computer as ADMINISTRATOR. Then goto Start->Run . Then type the following command ( Suppose here d: is the CDROM Drive)




D:\I386\WINNT32.EXE/CMDCONS 

Then Press ENTER. A wild dilog box will open and ask you for conformation . Press ‘yes’. The installation will complete within a minite. Then Press ‘ok’.The installing process is complete now.



To use Recovery Consol Restart your computer and select the Recovery Console press Enter .

 Then press the index number of operating system then press ‘Enter’ now use the Recovery Commands to repair the Windows.
