ROOTING INFINIX HOT SERIES
To Root as we discussed before, is to get superuser privileges for your Device. For you to safely Root your Phone. we have offered this guide will help you through the processMost Infinix devices run on MTK processors /chipset hence most third party rooting apps work well with them.
PREREQUISITES
- Phone with 80% charge on it
- USB cable
- Stable internet connection : i recommend 3G connection
- 500MB Disk space-This maybe a lot but i highly recommend you to have the space to enable successful rooting.
METHOD 1
THIRD PARTY APPS (USING KINGO ROOT)
REQUIREMENTS
- Download Kingo root app Here
- Install the app by side loading it in your phone or download it directly from play store ( which automatically installs apps in your phone)
- Open the app normally
- When the apps open tap one click root
- Wait until the screen shows a 100% and shows a tick and a message showing Root succeeded
- You will have now rooted your phone successfully
METHOD 2 (WITH PC)
SP FLASH TOOL
Requirements
- Download Sp flash tool here
- Infinix Usb cable
- Fully charged phone
- Download custom recoveries for your specific phone
Steps
- Switch off your phone
- Connect your phone with USB cable and ensure you have enabled USB Debugging on
- Download SP Flash.zip and install it.
- Run SPFlash tool and load scatter file.
- Uncheck all the options except recovery.
- Go to Recovery and load recovery images downloaded before.
- You will see “Recovery” box is now checked and recovery image location.
- Turn off your MediaTek device.
- Connect the mobile device and click “Download” on to the top.
- A successive SP flash takes a few minute and you can see a green circle if the flash is successive.
