The Times Profiles Eat17

Yesterday was a great day for our client Eat17 as they were profiled across two pages in The Times in a piece entitled, Meet the brothers reinventing the humble corner shop.

The article, in both print and online editions, written by Times business journalist James Hurley, focused on how Eat17 were expanding their Retail operations across London and the South East by opening stores which act as retail hubs for local traders.

It’s great to see the media recognising how truly innovative the Eat17 model is. The coverage is richly deserved for founders James Brundle and Chris O’Connor. They have created a unique retail concept where each and every store is truly unique and serves its local community.

The piece also highlighted how the retailer is at the forefront of the fight against plastic by offering refillable containers to customers for everything from milk to wine.

Co-founder James Brundle told the Times: “Our business is all about ideas and innovation. That’s what retail should be about. People in retail think they all have to do things the same way. We’re always trying to change. We’ll try 100 things, 50 might work and we’ll try and improve those. We reinvest a lot when something is doing well to improve it.”

The piece is the latest feature we have secured for Eat17. We have also won coverage in The Telegraph, The Grocer, London Loves Business, London Evening Standard, Talking Retail, GoWestLondon, Retail Week, HammersmithToday and BetterRetailing along with many others.

We look forward to helping this great brand continue its expansion with more fantastic media coverage along the way.
