We all know the power of Youtube right?

But did you know that there are thousands of sites out there that pull videos from Youtube and Embed them on their own site?

Think about that for a second…

If another site embeds your video on their site, and you have a link in your description, that means that your link gets embedded on their site too…

= BOOM!… Free Backlink

But…

Let’s up our game here a bit more.

If we were talking about the types of videos most of us make, how to’s, or software reviews etc. These types of videos are not likely to go viral right?

But we don’t want to spend too much time making videos that have the potential to go viral either right? (That’s a whole other business model).

What I tend to do instead is focus on movie trailer compilations. Yes, these will get flagged for copyright, but we don’t really care as all we want is for our video to be picked up and embedded by other sites right?

Yours doesn’t have to be movie trailers, maybe you think America’s Got Talent clips works best… what ever you like, once it’s something that has the potential to get hundreds of thousands, if not millions of views.

The next point on this, is don’t just have a backlink to your website in the description.

At the end of the description… list all your blog posts too.

How powerful are these backlinks?

Most of the time they are not very powerful… But we are going for quantity over quality here.
