Mulayam Singh Yadav‘s Daughter-In-Law Aparna Yadav has said that a Ram Temple should be built in Ayodhya.
As the General Election is approaching in the next 7-8 months, Ram Temple is yet again coming to the forefront. No doubt, UP Politics has always been busy with possible construction Ram Temple.
As Yogi Adityanath, a staunch rightist is at the power, Ram Temple is definitely going to be a polarizing factor not only in UP but also in different areas of North India. Anyhow, a remark from Aparna Yadav, daughter-in-law of the former chief minister of UP, Mulayam Singh Yadav, has surprised everyone.
For the first time and significant to say the least, Aparna Yadav has clarified that she is in favor of a Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Side by side she has made it clear that she has faith upon the judiciary.

Although Aparna Yadav herself lost in the elections in the 2017 assembly polls, her remark comes at a very important juncture of time. It is absolutely clear that Aparna Yadav is more or less inclined towards Shivpal Singh and his Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL).
Although Aparna Yadav has distance from SP, her remarks are definitely going to have an impact within SP. Traditionally SP has tried to Dalit and Muslim voters. But Aparna Yadav’s comments indicate that PSPL is targetting the upper caste Hindu vote bank as well, which is very different from SP’s approach.
Very recently, the Supreme Court of India has categorically said that the court is not inclined towards making an urgent hearing on the Ayodhya land dispute case and an appropriate bench will listen to it in January.
Whether there is a possibility of PSPL coming into an alliance with BJP is a tough question. But Mulayam Singh Yadav must be in a political dilemma over the comments of Aparna Yadav. After all, PSPL can play the spoilsport for SP as well.
