It looks like all things are set to go on Creed II, and it is going to be a weird one.

Rocky IV was a divisive film in the series, but it seems that Sylvester Stallone has found a way to follow it up. Creed, the 2015 addition to the series was a surprise critical and financial hit, and now the second film is going to tie back to Rocky IV.

To that end, Stallone has released an image teasing the upcoming film.

Creed II, once again written by Stallone will see Creed (Michael B. Jordan) fighting with a character played by Florian Munteanu that is the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) who will be returning to the series.

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect from Creed and ended up loving it. So while following up Rocky IV seems risky, I have enough faith to give it the benefit of the doubt.
