We went to Chopsticks Viet Restaurant the other day. We seldom have Vietnamese food. Not very fond of them but we were told the food there was decent, so why not have a try.
The beef noodle was good. The flavour was light but just right. This one passed.
Then we have their grilled fish. Look like pretty amateurish. Certainly the taste was bad. The chef was too generous with tamarind on the fish. It's a dish to avoid.
The dish also came with some greens. Maybe you are supposed to eat the fish with this so as to reduce the tamarind taste, but I didn't. So maybe I ate it the wrong way.
I actually really went there to try their mung bean and coconut drink. The drink took a long time to come. Maybe they want to ensure that you are really thirsty. It looked pretty average but actually taste good.
