We went for a weekend getaway in Kalbarri not too long ago. We drove up North after work. It was a long drive as you can imagine how big Western Australia is. It was like driving from Singapore to Penang.
We stopped by Cervantes Bar and Bistro for dinner. We been to this restaurant before. This was the most happening place in town.
We had their whole lobster since lobster industry is a big thing for the town. It's like you go KFC to eat chicken.
The quality of lobster was better than our first experience. It was just nice and succulent.
We also had their Fish of the Day, which was Snapper. The fish was fresh though I would say it was pretty much average or bit above average. You don't drive up from Perth simply for this, unless you really got nothing better to do.
Kid's Fish and Chips was decent. Can't be faulted but nothing to shout about.
If you drop by Cervantes, I would say Cervantes Bar and Bistro is a safe bet.
