It was a superb experience to visit The Wagah Border..felt so patriotic..loved the performances by the Indian forces..ladies were allowed to carry The Flag n walk..was so cool to see the Neighbouring country performing as well..was good to watch spectators swaying Indian flags..listening to the patriotic songs and watching the parade..A must visit to all India lovers is recomended. This was one of the highlights on our trip to India. The border is the only official border between India and Pakistan. The border gate closes at sunset every day with a ritual that started small years ago and is now a tourist draw. The stadium on the Indian side is massive. Plenty of seating for everyone. You may bring in a small purse and water. Can NOT bring in backpacks or large bags. The ceremony is military style and very professional and patriotic. The Pakistani side is sparsely represented in comparison. After the ceremony there are multiple food and souvenir stands along the road out of the stadium. A don’t miss!..
