Aadhaar card is the most important document to get government scheme benefit for the people of India. It is a unique identification Number for the citizen of India. Days are coming when there will not be available any service without Aadhaar card. More than 90% of peoples are having this document in India which is used as proof of identity for various schemes. It may be harmful if your Aadhaar number used by the wrong way. Recently, the live example we had seen, when TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority Of India) chairman challenged to hackers by disclosing his own Aadhaar number on social media. Rest of the story you already know. Hackers declared his some personal information within an hour of posting that statement. So, Aadhaar security is the crucial part.

As being an alert citizen you should know where your aadhaar is linked and by whom is being used. Here, I am going to tell you how to find out where Aadhaar is linked means where it is being used.

Step By Stepp

  • Go to the Aadhaar official website: uidai.gov.in
  • Click on service tab.
  • Click on Aadhaar Authentication History
  • Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and OTP (one time password) which you will receive on your registered mobile number. 
  • You will face several options for authentication purpose like demographics, biometrics, OTP, demographic and biometric, Biometric, OTP, and Demographic. Select any one of these. If want to get information for all of these than select all.
  • Set Date range. 
  • Enter OTP and click to submit.
  • You will find where your Aadhaar number is linked.
