Saw King Kong today. The special effects were unbelievable, but the movie was way too long. About 1/3 of the “Skull Island” action could have been edited out without leaving out any of the story. And, who was responsible for casting Jack Black?!?! I’ve enjoyed him in other things, but he just was way out of place here.
Let’s see… $12.50 for 2 matinee tickets, $!8.00 for 2 large popcorns and 2 small sodas. Worth it??? Yeah… I’m glad I saw it on the bid Screen and I will probably buy the wide screen DVD for myHiDef viewing at home.
