We beat ourselves up with thoughts of guilt, shame and failure from the past. We terrorize ourselves with catastrophic fear thoughts about the future. In other words, we make ourselves miserable. It doesn’t have to be that way. We can discipline our mind so that we are in control of our thoughts rather than being victimized by them. It takes vigilance and practice to do this. To Be Present in the Here and Now. It’s not easy. But it’s worth it because that’s where the real fun is. That’s where the joy and spontaneity of Life Happens.
