This post is mainly just a let off steam post, so my viewpoint may be a bit jacked up. Anyway...

Check this, I was on my way to work this morning, and on 100E, I got stuck in a big-ass traffic jam approximately 2 miles from 2N, where I needed to turn. At first I thought it would pass in a few minutes, but the sad truth is that there was a HUGE accident up the road, past where I needed to turn, so I had to sit there waiting for the fucking EMT's to get out there and evac the dumbass who wrecked his car in the first place (speeding and/or drunk, I expect...), which by the way, left me sitting in traffic for a good 45 minutes! I have to be at work by 10 otherwise mall management docks me 100 dollars in fines...well...guess what time I got to work today because of this bullshit? 10:21. That's right, I got fined 100 dollars because some jackass doesn't know how to fucking drive, and of course mall management doesn't seem to get that there isn't exactly an alternate route I can take from Columbia to Marley Station Mall, and that I can't help it if someone else fucks shit up for me. I mean, I would have been at work about 20 minutes EARLY if not for the accident, so how the fuck is it my fault? I would like to find out who the motherfucker is who caused the accident, find out what hospital he's at, and squeeze the fines out of him. Seriously, he should be paying this fine, not me!

What really pisses me off is that I just called my boss, and he was on 100E at about 9:30 and he didn't encounter this shit, and he thinks I'm just bullshitting! So because of 10 minutes, he thinks I'm lying about my lateness. I told him to contact mall management anyway, and I'm pretty sure they know all about the accident and traffic jam by now, so HOPEFULLY he can get through to them to pull back the fine.

You know, I was forced to miss breakfast because of this shit...*sigh*

I must say, though, as angry as I am, if 2 EMT vehicles were on the scene, it must have been bad, and I offer my prayer to the victims...they just owe me if I get fined. I think that's a fair trade, don't you?
