This has been in the back of my mind for a while, and I'm sure a lot of my readers will agree with me. Most parents nowadays are too lazy to actually raise and discipline their Children. In fact, there are many parents out there who act like spoiled brats themselves, thus setting bad examples for future generations. It really is quite disgusting!

First and foremost, when a child does something wrong and another individual who is affected by said wrong asks the child nicely to stop said action, seriously, the parent should not be confronting that individual! Life example: A 10 year old kid decided it was a good idea to slap his hand on my cases at work and drag it across, leaving a big smudge mark all over my glass. I had asked the child to please refrain from touching the glass. Simple enough, right? Well, the child's father walks up 10 seconds later, gets in my face, and starts cursing at me because apparently "I have a problem with his kid" when all I asked him to do was NOT put his handprints on my glass. What kind of lesson did the father just teach his brat of a child? Simple: Do whatever you want, daddy will yell at anyone who tells you otherwise and you won't face the consequences of your actions. Dumbass.

Even worse is when teenagers get arrested for doing dumb shit and the parents bail them out within the hour. Especially on charges like possession? Assault and battery? Come on, now! How about you idiots make your "children" sit in the precinct for the MAXIMUM amount of time permitted by law? (23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds), like my mother would have done to me. And even so, the 23 hours sitting in a precinct would be like a vacation compared to what awaited me at home. These spoiled brats are picked up from the precinct in like an hour, and then the parents don't discipline their damn kids afterwards. What the fuck? Your child could have punched out a cop, and you just let them off easy?

Oh, and what's with all of these 8 and 9 year old kids wandering around the malls without parental supervision? Do you realize the malls are among some of the most dangerous places for children to be alone? I mean, check this out. Arundel Mills Mall has an incident requiring law enforcement at LEAST every other week because Security is unable to handle the situation on their own. There are fights that break out, thefts that turn into fights where the parties involved don't care about bystanders, and a shit-ton of assaults. Not to mention quite a few of these individuals DO carry in the mall (I've seen it. Half of my customers at Arundel Mills Mall have admitted to carrying a bladed weapon on them at all times). Is this really an environment you want your children to be left alone in? Oh, and you parents that allow your children to go into a knife and sword shop and talk shit? Come on, now. A little responsibility please?

Now, in regards to unfit parents. See, once you become a parent, you're supposed to be setting an example, right? What would you say if I told you a mother of two who is approximately 20 years old decided to attack a certain blogmaster on that blogmaster's GIRLFRIEND'S profile on a social networking site that shall remain nameless? That's right ,bitch, I'm calling you out. This same individual that would post flame comments on someone else's wall with the intent to harass me is also notorious in some circles for beating her children. I kid you not! In public, one of her children simply said "I'm hungry." That's a legitimate statement for a young child to make, correct? So tell me, why the fuck did this little girl's bitch of a mother beat her child for it? People like this make me sick.

And don't even get me started on deadbeat dads...
