Chittagong is the one of the division of Bangladesh with a Divisional city named after the Division “Chittagong”. It is not only famous for its natural beauty but also famous for its significant contribution to Bangladesh, Nepal, and India. Chittagong sea port is operating since ancient times. Chittagong has trackable history of being a seaport.  The second largest city in Bangladesh, Chittagong is situated on the banks of the Karnaphuli River between the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the Bay of Bengal.

Chittagong division in Bangladesh consists of many major tourist spots of Bangladesh. Such as, Rangamati, Saint martin’s Island, Cox’s bazar sea beach, Sajek Valley, Bandarban etc.

Cox’s Bazar sea beach:
The world’s largest unbroken sea beach, Cox’s bazar is already popular around the world and visited by the tourists coming from all over the world. There are several tourist spots in Cox’s bazar- Himchari, Inani Beach, Maheskhali, Ramu, Sonaida Island etc. If you are planning to visit cox’s bazar, you will definitely want to visit Saint Martin’s Island, one of the main tourist point in Bangladesh. Saint martin’s island is a coral island of Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh which is crowded with local people every year. 

Chittagong hill tracts:
Chittagong hill tracts is mainly consisting of three different districts in Bangladesh. All of them are individually a place of peace and natural beauty. I bet if you visit those three places once, you will definitely come back again. The places are crowded with local people all around the year. Some of the famous places in Chittagong hill tracts are Kaptai Lake, Sajek Valley, Rangamati hanging bridge, Keokradong, Boga lake, Rijuk waterfall, Velakhum, Patang Jhiri, Sat vai khum, Poddo jhiri etc.
