I never planned on this blog to be a soapbox for pro Obama rhetoric.  Then again i never though in my lifetime that i would be inspired by a politician as i have been by him.  So here i am.

The Glass Jaw by definition:

  I can only surmise that in order for someone to be determined to have a Glass Jaw...someone else has to throw a sucker punch.  In this case someone in Obama's own party.  But Barack doesn't have a glass jaw.  Were Hillary a male i doubt this term would have even come up.  But it has...and in doing so it seems to have opened a floodgate of criticisisms based on Mr. Obama's supposed inexperience, lofty goals, and fictional hopes.  And this wasn't even from the Republican party.  It was from Hillary.  The anointed one.  The "fellow" Democrat.

  Hillary Clinton attempts to cut Barack's legs from beneath him and yet publicly entertains the idea of having him as a running mate.  This disgusts me on several levels.  First of all...last i heard she was behind on delegates.  And if by some chance she should win the nomination it will be in nearly the same manner that Bush won his last presidency.  That being based on the decisions of a biased and priveledged few. I've already decided that i could never vote for her.

How appropriate.

   That said...i can only hope that if by some ridiculous and tragic fate, Hillary Clinton should win the Democratic nonimation for President of the United States; that Barack Obama should reject any offer to run on her ticket.  She boasts how her experience shall bring about change..??  Let's see her do it.  Especially after she loses to John McCain who happens to have even more experience and less enemies than she has.

Barack:

Stay on the high road.  Argue your points on the economy, healthcare, and the war in iraq.  Argue that Hillary's years in government have produced little if any change.  Her influence in government seems to have been little if any.  N.Y. state senator for two terms and i have yet to see what she has done to make life here any better than Bloomberg has.

  But back to the "glass jaw"...

   No other story gave the "glass jaw" term more wings than the one written by Ed Morrisey of The Free Republic who's criticisms of Obama could only come from someone who writes for a Conservative site who would prefer Hillary to win the nomination over Obama.  After all...Republicans have a better chance against Hillary than they would against Barack...so why not join in on the bum's rush against him and get in a few of their own knocks.  Republicans are very familiar with the Hillary strategy of character assassination.  They gave birth to that strategy.

Dear Senator Obama,

This is winner take all.  Should you win the nomination (and you should.) may God bless you and your efforts.  But should you lose to Hillary; bide your time.  Remain senator and build upon that experience and hope you already posess.  We will be here for you.  I'm quite sure of that.

THE Bush "Stimulus Package":

   Ahh. yes.  That act of genius known as the economic Stimulus Package in which some Americans will receive anywhere between $300 and $600 in a one time lump sum in order to jump start the economy.  Problem being that when you have to jump start something it's usually because the battery is weak or dead.  What we need is not a jump start; we need a new friggin' battery. And 3-6 hundred bucks is just not gonna cut it.

  But according to Bush this Stimulus package will:

1) pull us out of the recession we're not currently in.

2) Help the mortgage crisis

3) Create jobs.

4) Grow our hair back

5) Improve our fuel consumption.

6) Taste just like sugar but without the calories.

Umm...who's the one with lofty unrealistic goals now eh..??

  This stimulus package is kinda like the Roger Clemens debacle.  Rogers' performance was softening thus affecting his economics.  He in turn recieved a "stimulus package"....in doses of about 50-200 cc's.  it helped him a bit in the short term..but now he kinda looks like a burnt out liar about to do time.

So much for that idea..
