I knew I hadn't blogged for a while .. but I didn't realise it had been almost a month .. how lame. I could sit here and waffle on with a load of excuses about being busy, work being shite, trips abroad ... but really I could have found a way around it. I have been away so long I have been removed from other bloggers blogroll's ... which I don't blame them for ..!

Moving on .. I really have been away. I went to Zagreb, Croatia for the first time this month and was quite surprised at what I saw .. It's a strange place. It's as modern (and feels like) the rest of Europe, but somehow also feels a little .. bleak. I apologise to any Croatians reading this as I am sure you would think the UK a weird place, but I am telling it like I found it. The graffiti on all of the buildings there is amazing - not good, just lots of it all over the place.

I also had a few issues with a few of the locals - I don't think they had ever seen an overweight English person before so enjoyed taking pictures of me .. in the background whilst pretending to take pictures of other things! We went up in a (very small) plane on the last day to fly over the town - it was really good .. even if the door didn't lock properly ..!

Meanwhile .. back at home, things have been moving on and paperwork has been mounting up, which is why I have this week off - to try and catch up with some of it .. and I m also going to try and post here more frequently too .. and I promise not to leave it so long this time.
