There is a scene in "Gypsy". . .right before she is supposed to go on stage for the first time at the burlesque theater. Gypsy is dressed up in a formal gown with her hair and make-up done and she looks in the Mirror. She looks in the mirror and it's like she is seeing herself for the first time and she realizes that she's beautiful. Sometime I look in the mirror and feel that way. Like this morning, my hair was straight and shiny, my make-up looked good and an outfit actually fit me really well. I thought to myself that maybe I just needed to grow into myself. Granted this feeling never lasts and tomorrow I'll probably feel the complete opposite, but once in awhile is good.

Saturday night a few of us are going to Oscars for drink and to pick up rich men. Even without the man part it should still be a fun evening.
