There has been a lot of things happening in my life since my last post. I met my half brother for the first time. He is a great guy (Robert), married to a wonderful woman (Clair), with a beautiful daughter (Emily). My mother had him when she was 16 and put him up for adoption. He has had a good life with loving parents. He has lived in Ireland since he was five, but still has strong ties to Newfoundland. Mom, Heather (my sister), and I got along fine with them, and even though they are far away (back in Ireland) we do feel a bond. I had no trouble talking with Robert, I love cooking - he is a chef; we both watch soccer and love Manchester United; and we even look alike.
I am still doing great in school. I will be writing my A+ and Network+ certs soon.
I just turned 26 yesterday. That puts things into a different perspective. The closer I get to thirty the thinner the line between success and failure becomes. I need to work even harder to keep my life together.
