There are more Christian martyrs today than there were in A.D. 100--in the days of the Roman Empire. Now in the twenty-first century, according to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity, more than 150,000 Christians are martyred around the world every year.
"Remember the Lord's people who are in jail and be concerned for them. Don't forget those who are suffering, but imagine that you are there with them."
Hebrews 13:3 cev.  Their stories must be told.
My Review
The book is about persecuted Christians. The authors crafted an excellent plot with short testimonies. In the end, there are specific contents like information about the band dc Talk - Toby Mac, Michael Tait (Newsboys) and Kevin Max (Audio Adrenaline). The readers will learn about the persecution of Christians throughout history and per country. The paperback includes some resources for prayer groups, an index, and several book references. The hand book’s purpose is to expose the truth regarding the worldwide hate crimes against Christians.
The authors used a plain language that is easy to understand. The testimonies are very inspiring and heartbreaking. It is very challenging to realise that overseas Christians suffer because of their faith. The book is interesting because now I know what is going on elsewhere. The book held its thesis together and cover all angles. The book gives the date and the name of the victims. The authors gave the details on the way the Christians are tortured and often killed.
The title and the brown book cover grabbed my attention.  The book’s cover looks like a parchment. This book‘s message is uplifting. I also realised that the mainstream media don’t talk about the persecution of the Christians - reality check. I really enjoyed reading this book because that strengthened my faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The book was biblically accurate. And it respects the interpretation of the Bible. I praise  praipse  the authors for their investigations.  I give 5 stars out of five for this compelling book.
