Ever wonder by how much prices of Agricultural products go up in a year’s time in Cebu? Not that much between January 2012 and January 2013, if we are to believe monitoring records of Cebu’s agriculture office.

Prices of some produce event went down, information provided by provincial agricultural statistical officer Ernesto G. Villacorta revealed.

In the course of my work writing business stories for our local website cebu.businessguide.ph and for a national newspaper Businessworld, I come across information that is not easily accessible but may of public interest.

Wrote about price changes of agricultural commodities in a span of one year in Cebu. I don’t buy in the monitored markets of Mandaue, Talisay, and Cebu but I would appreciate feedback from those who do. Do you agree with the prices listed in the agriculture office’s monitoring reports?
