Before Northcoders, I’d never used a CSS framework before. I’d just done it all manually, so to speak, in Notepad, getting my hands dirty with Layouts and styling and having complete control over both.

But over the past few weeks I’ve really fallen for Bulma. It takes a lot of the legwork out of layouts with its column system, and its built-in styles mean that I can knock out a good-looking webpage in no time. Of course, if I want to truly customise the default styling, I still have to get a little bit hacky. But I love CSS – I just told one of my buddies that I’m the freakin’ Khaleesi of CSS – so it’s not a chore at all.
