12.21am:

The two hour Journey from Singapore to Bangkok was spent well you know, trying to adapt to the high frequencies and ear popping cases. In that scenario, I still have yet to figure out how to properly handle my bladder issues, as I was closely located beside the window, it'll be a hard time teleporting to the washroom. Anyway, Bangkok was fun. What can I say, the crowded streets filled with hippies and Caucasians and the smell of freedom lingering on me, spicy. Mom freaked out initially when she called and asked if I was really having my staycation at sentosa which I promptly told her the truth. Yet I denied the fact that I was travelling alone and was in Bangkok. Thus she thought I was stuck in Malaysia, which worries her more since she claims that Malaysia is freaking dangerous. My first single trip was expectedly scary, most travelers at the airport were adults or accompanied while I had to figure out where the check in counter is. Well my stomach stutters and my mind was hurting too much from overthinking. I predicted a scene in my head, where mom stomped into the airport with some keys and dragged me out, only to create a horrible scene of me dashing through the gates.

Upon arrival, I had to purchase a drink because my stomach was rambling since morning and there was nothing to eat at home. Took the skytrain for my hotel for an hour or so. One thing about the streets of Bangkok is that there were many crop plants, as seen from the sky view. People grew crops and it was just green patches. Similar to Malaysia but this is bigger and wide. I had to admit that some of them are impatient and frustrating individuals, came across a few whom seriously have no respect for me as a human. Perhaps my petite and childlike figure speaks otherwise, I don't know, or the language barrier plays a huge part in it.

First day was abit hectic since my Tuk Tuk driver had a hard time looking for the hotel. By the way, taking the tuk tuk car was so fun.  Except for the fact that I almost choked on exhaust fumes and noise pollution.

Spotted this gem at khan San road.

Balcony view of my hostel.

I walked alongside aisle of different streets, most of the time locals have no idea whhat or why I decided to intrude their outdoors kitchen.

This was taken via return flight to Singapore.

Indeed, I was afraid of the possibilities. See I bought a thousand dollars worth of insurance for the three days, and I am safe. I could have reached the airport earlier but time wasn't by my side, the taxi broke down which led to unpunctuality.

Temples have strict dress code policy here. I was denied entry due to my fbt shorts. But damn, mom would've been so proud of me if she learned that I was visiting temples and lakes instead of roaming around the bar all the time.

Managed to visit the art gallery there on my last day.

Roof top bar! I was accompanied by a friend I met online. She's a nice lady, soft spoken and polite. If only I had learned a few Thai phrases, we could communicate so much better than endless Google translate and awkward stares.

Had foot massage for 200baht an hour. Another rare gem one couldn't experience in Singapore. The enjoyment and cheap thrills here.

 Booze and live music

For some reason I enjoyed every single bit in Bangkok. Though it was a short 3 days vacation, and being alone for the first time, this journey took me further than just travelling.

Till next solo travel journey!
