A hint of nostalgia

1:04am:

What if I told you I saw something in the Gallery whilst I was at work. Well you probably didn't care anyways. So it was another causal boring Saturday morning when I turned up for work, surprisingly when I saw pictures drew by locals that depicts Singapore during the 80s or 90s. Not that I'd like to care on any given day, but these drawings were just so intriguing. If there's one thing I learn from the show Parks n Recreation, that is the ability to feel deeply connected to an art piece that wasn't even mine. And thus I chose paintings of Singapore in the past. Thought it might be weird or mushy to say but I remembered life in the 80s were more wonderful and great, as displayed on TV.

People in the past were so carefree and nonchalant, before technology was fully invented and disperse around. Gosh Nostalgia struck me so hard, I'm always stuck in the past, hoping that even when I passed on, i'm able to return to the world where movies like Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction were on set.
So much for rambling nonsensical ideas. Life isn't a reality anymore, for days I've been picturing myself in a life so called freedom, as known as day dreaming minus the amount of times I fell asleep thinking about it. It's just how the world puts pressure on us individually. As things progress into more complexity, so is our minds and hearts, lured into the world of complicated issues. Some I presume weren't even there.

I was taking Uber the other day when the driver had a little chat with me. First we started off with schools and my future job, then we proceeded to little discussions of politics and the government. Both of us had the same ideology and beliefs. PS. please keep this as a secret between ourselves, do not disclose any of the information here. Ha! Jk. It's like the prices of everything have increase laboriously so much so that I'm beginning to question about declaring bankruptcy at the age of 18. Of course it was a nonsensical talk. I could try harder to save up every dime if I want to, or if someone were to kidnap my money for the nonce.. Anyway moving on, then we were talking about the price of cars as it has increased tremendously as well, how am I Gonna take my driver's license in peace when I know that car rates probably is gonna increase further in near future. Honestly I am dead trying to keep up with modern society, not because of idleness or ignorant but because living in the current generation is equivalent to living an unhappy life. Which makes me sad to see more unhappy people with the same thoughts as me hiding in the shadows and struggling to keep up with the norm.

Of course there's nothing we can do about, other than sucking thumb and obliviously following the crowd to wherever it goes. Remember there was once when a photo was repeatedly re-blogged? The quote goes like "When nothing goes right, go left." Well I rather discard the "go left" and add "go to sleep". Sounds purer. Of course as usual, not trying to make a statement or officially declare war with the government. Voicing out opinion is so important in Singapore's freedom of speech.

Oh wait, talking about Amos Yee, nevermind...

Right now let me tell you the most thug life thing I'll probably do, and shit is about to go down real quick. First imma post this page so that my files wouldn't get lost or deleted magically, secondly I'm going to bed. Erm yea that's not... Lastly I'm gonna wake up tomorrow by fate. By luck if I happened to sleep through without being interrupted by the sound of the "World most annoying alarm" featuring Darude- Sandstorm, then by lord Jesus Christ I'm not going to work. And I mean it, even though the chances of them calling me and asking my whereabouts are high, I'm not going to work. Boom I said it! That's the most thug life thing you've ever heard eh?

Spoiler alert, I might not be going to work because I can.
Quote rewrote and adapted from Ron Swanson.

This is the painting I was refering to earliler. If not mistaken, I think its Tan Tock Seng hospital? My geographical location actually sucks so is my memory.

The aisle of the gallery where I work, at certain time of the day, visitors amount fluctuates.
