It’s finally pool weather! Here are the new Swim Suit Trends we think you should be on the lookout for if you’re in the market for something new. One trend that is definitely taken the market by storm are styles that cover up more—one-pieces, halters, and high-rise bottoms are now offering more coverage in a stylish way, which I love.

Here’s my round-up of some of my favourite swim suit styles for the season:

OFF-THE-SHOULDER

It’s pretty obvious that the off-the-shoulder trend has been a huge hit for both spring and summer, and now, you can take it to the beach! How cute is this off-the-shoulder one-piece from Hunnis? Covered on the bottom and showing off those shoulders is sexy and perfect for the beach or your next pool party.

HIGH NECK, HIGH STYLE

The high-neck or halter style stop is really big this season and again, another great way to add some more coverage while you’re getting those rays. I love the peekaboo details on this top from Swimco.

CUTE BUM

I don’t know about you, but I love any bottom that is high-wasted, so these high-rise bikini bottoms look like heaven! Comfort and style all in one—how could you go wrong? Pick one up in a neutral colour to go with your other tops, or mix it up with a fun pattern.

THE ONE-PIECE

These sure aren’t what they used to be. No longer is the one-piece synonymous with frumpy. Just check out this cute one-piece with cross back detail from AOS. Great way to cover up a bit more in the front and show off some skin in the back.

WRAP IT UP

If you’re into bikinis, this trend is a must try! It’s a twist (literally) on the classic, in a fun and more comfortable way. Love this purple wrap combo from Nordstrom.
