Summer is in full swing.  With that comes hot days, bright nights, and of course, kids with a tone of extra time on their hands!  To help you keep the family entertained this summer, we’ve discovered a few fun, family-friendly events in July that everyone in the family can enjoy together!

LEGENDARY WATER FIGHT

Battle the Langley City firefighters at Al Anderson Pool Saturday, July 15th from 1:00-4:00pm, for the Legendary Water Fight!  $5 admission at the door

MOVIE NIGHTS UNDER THE STARS!

LANGLEY

JULY 22nd

Bring your lawn chairs, a warm blanket and enjoy a movie under the star at Krause Berry Farms!  This is the perfect family night out featuring the classic, ‘Honey I Shrunk The Kids’, plus jumping pillows, volleyball, peddle races and more fun activities!  Food and drinks are available for purchase and the movie is free with your admission to the events field.

SOUTH SURREY

On JULY 14, 21 and 28th,

Visit The Shops at Morgan Crossing from 6:00pm to 11:00pm and check out an evening of FREE movies under the stars!  Featuring Big Hero 6, Beauty and the Beast, Minions and the Boss Baby, this is another perfect movie night out for the whole family!  Click here for more details!

CREATIVE KIDS

July 19th

Head to McBurney Plaza in Langley City from 9:30am to 11:30am to take part in this instructor led arts and crafts session!  Click here for more details.

SURREY FUSHION FESTIVAL

On JULY 22nd and 23rd

Head to Holland Park in Surrey for two days of delicious food, music and a mix of culture!  Admission is FREE and includes a variety of shows and demonstrations as well as Kid’s World & Sport Zone, Toddler Town, Storyville, Canada 150 Zone and so much more! SPORTS IN THE PLAZA

July 29th

Part of the 2017 McBurney Plaza Summer Series, check out Sports in the Plaza on July 29th from noon to 3:00pm!  Meet local sport celebrities, take part in interactive activities including the Revolution Martial Arts Obstacle Course along with a tone of other fun stuff, including player card and prize pack giveaways and photo opportunities with your favourite players!
