Recently, my Church decided to embark on a new project to redevelope and rebrand the church website of Kajang Assembly of God. I had been personally involved in the many versions of our church website since the first version in 2004. Above is the screenshot of the current site. Wow, it’s been that many years. Well, due to newer and better web technologies which I hadn’t been able to keep up with since, we are now seeing amazing visual sites that are not only appealing and informative but also interactive and able to draw in viewers. The current site actually uses Accesspress Parallax Theme when I was dabbing with Parallax feature but it is still a free theme with minimum features.

I always knew there are amazing church wordpress themes around but I never actually looked at them due to their price. USD99 above. However, after this article was published on Hongkiat.com and edited by my church member Belle, my pastor started looking into and it and finally agreed that we can pay for a theme and work on a new website.

Having checked out a few themes, I’m going to decide on the Wise theme because of its many features that relate to what we need. Stay tuned for more of our redevelopment process which I will try to document in this blog.
