My Business Trip To France

I recently took a Business Trip to France. I was not excited about this trip because I hate to fly. Further, I am not a huge fan of the French people or the country itself. I do not share the same love and admiration for all things french like many other people do. I am a country boy that likes guns, barbecue, and dogs. I do not do the frilly and the froo froo. My company was about to embark on a new campaign that needed to be launched in Europe. Because of the issues that we were facing I was forced to make the trip myself and this meant that I had to attend a business meeting in France. So here is what I learned on my trip across the pond.

First, France is not a place that believes in deodorant. Seriously, the people might be pretty but they smell to high heaven. I was appalled by the smell and I found myself offering deodorant to everyone in the group. Second, snails are a rather tasty food. I have heard for years that the French like to eat escargot but I was not about to try it. Well I did try it, and I loved it. The texture is a bit odd but the flavor is certainly there. Third, the women are no prettier than the women here in the states. However, they do seem to be a bit more aggressive. I am a married man and I had to remind a few of the ladies there of that fact. Finally, I learned that France is not all bad, but I much prefer being home in North Carolina.
