A Country Girl's Whiskey Cake

I don't really have much to talk about.  I ended up not going shopping the other day.  I just started a diet and I've already lost 7 pounds in a week, so I decided not to shop for more clothes til I lost more weight. 

I did get a request for my famous whiskey cake from my neighbors, so I decided to share the recipe.



 

Whiskey Cake

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 box of instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
1 shot Whiskey

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Oil Bunt pan and set aside.  Beat ingredients together with an electric mixer for 2 mins and pour into prepared pan.  Bake for 50 mins.

For glaze you'll need 1 stick of butter, 1 cup of sugar and 1 shot of whiskey.  Melt butter in pan and add whiskey and sugar.  Pour glaze over cake, let cool and enjoy.
