KL 2017 Naughty Nuri’s

I met up with another 3 of my ex-colleagues over the last weekend of my visit to Kuala Lumpur.

The organizer suggested the above Indonesian Restaurant.

I was surprised at the exhibits at the entrance of the restaurant. Apparently, the restaurant specializes in pork dishes.

I had an Indonesia special drink; Kedondong Asam Boi which turned out to be very fibrous. It is RM11 (about CAD3.35).

The four of us shared three dishes. The portion is big and it’s more than enough for us to share.

The above is their signature Roast Pork salad with a asam margarita vinaigrette. The star of this salad is the roast pork. The salad is RM25.80 (about CAD7.80).

Our main dish was their signature 1995 BBQ spareribs. It is marinated with Balinese spices. This is RM47 (about CAD14.25). I heard that this restaurant does not cater take out for their Signature Bbq Spareribs. You can only takeout whatever leftover from your eat-in order that you cannot finish.

We had an Indonesian style nasi goreng for filler. It was very good too and am not surprised now that the fried rice also comes with roast pork. This is RM23 (about CAD7).

For dessert, we shared a Mt. Buleleng inspired sizzling bacon chocolate cake. It came on a hotplate and when they pour the sauce over the dessert, it creates a sizzling effect. However, we could not detect the bacon in the cake. This is also RM23 (about CAD7).

Thank you my friend for organizing and buying lunch. It was so great to meet up with you and the other 2 ex-colleagues that I had not got in touch for more than 17 years.
