After breakfast, we strolled in Ikea, mostly window shopping. Then we walked over to Ikano Power Center and also checked out Curves. But the open air concept in Curves was not pleasant to me as it was hot and humid.

After all the walking and sweating, we felt hungry again. My sister in law brought me to Desa Aman Puri for a late Lunch. We went to 168 Pan Mee. Despite that it was already late lunch hour, the place is full.

We had the soup version of Pan Mee. The difference of the pan mee here from others is that they don’t have fried anchovies.

I like the texture of the hand torn noodle, with irregular thickness.

We had iced “Suen Mui Kat” (lime juice with sour plum) for our drink.

After lunch, my sister in law drove me to Kepong Baru wet market to look for Chinese birthday bun for my father’s birthday celebration the next day. The above was RM7 (about CAD2.20).

Peach shape pastry made with “bing pei”.  Peach signifies long life in Chinese culture. A pair is RM6 (about CAD1.80).

I also bought some “Ang Ku” in various shape and filings, like peanuts, red bean, green bean and lotus paste. The above more sophisticated design is RM1.20 each (less than CAD0.40).

The simpler design is RM0.80 each (about CAD0.25).
