Goodness is better than Greatness

When I was in grade school, I was thought that the superlative of Good is Great. But probably not in this case.

Glinda: For the record, I knew you had it in you all along.
Oz: Greatness?
Glinda: No. Better than that. Goodness.

These lines are my favorite from the movie, Oz. Being Great doesn't necessarily mean that you are good. And being Good is always better than being great.

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? - Mark 8:36

Lord, may I always choose to be good; may I always choose to be kind. It may not always be rewarding, and people may not always understand, but help me focus on You and your purpose for my life.

PS. Never liked Michelle Williams, because I am a 90s girl and I loved Joey in Dawson Creek. I haven't seen Broke Back Mountain, either. This is the first time I appreciated how pretty she is!
