And I don't mean the booze - although I could so go for one right now.  The girls are getting  little of our control this week.  I think I have said, "I need a vacation" over 100 times today!  Fortunately for  me, My best friend and I are taking a weekend trip to NYC in a week WOOHOO!!!!  Before that?  I am going to NJ for my cousin's baby shower with my 3 kids and my mother....Oh yeah...I know you are jealous!



OK to back to the title of this post - Wild Turkeys.  I was driving in the Tewksbury/Andover area today and I saw 3 wild turkeys roaming down the street.  They walked along the side of the road and..I kid you not..crossed the street at the cross walk!  Later I told Jiggs (my 5 yr. old) what I saw.  She asked if I stopped for the turkeys.  I said, "Of course I did, that what you do unless you want turkey for dinner."  I didn't think she would get the joke  I was wrong!  She laughed hysterically for a good 2 minutes.  Then said, " So, when I do, we go there and get them, not to the grocery store?"    Now it was my turn to laugh.  She is sooo funny -- in a very smart way.   Cracks me up every time.



Off to clean up after dinner.  Tomorrow is house cleaning day and pack for the NJ trip.  But first thing in the AM I have an IEP transition meeting at my 14yr old's middle school (getting ready for HS).  That ought to be fun!
