Unique facts of physics

I used to hate with physics lessons. Maybe that makes me hate, it is often the teacher in explaining these subjects more focused on theory and formulas that complicated. And if Physics is taught in different ways, in fact the subject was not scary as we thought. In fact there are many unique and interesting things from the physics concepts that can be delivered.

This time I tried to explain some Unique Facts about the concepts of physics, and I'll prove that in fact physics is actually very fun and interesting to learn.
  • Did you know that the density of ice is lighter 89% of the mass of cold water? As a result 11% of the iceberg above the water surface and the rest sank below the water surface. The reality is made floating icebergs in the sea is very dangerous, especially for the ships that were sailing. This has been proven in historic accident happened on the passenger ship Titanic in 1912. Ship that "can’t drown" was sunk in the North Atlantic after hitting an iceberg.
  • Do you believe that spider webs are stronger than steel? That's what happened, even the U.S. military had planned to make bulletproof jackets made from the shuttle cobwebs. So the scene in the movie Spider-Man 2 which describes the Spider-Man trying to stop the train by tying its earnings spider is not really impossible.
  • Who would have thought people could produce technology capable of gliding flight at speeds exceeding the speed of sound. Super-fast plane had so many dazzling the world with speed. Now even faster planes again being developed to carry out various missions into space. Hypersonic aircraft! How can this plane be moving? Concept can be found in physics (eg the lifting force on the aircraft, etc.)
  • Microwave is a powerful oven that can Cook Food in an express? As the name implies, a microwave oven is an oven that uses the help of microwave (microwaves) to cook food. What does the term of this microwave? Actually, this wave is a radio wave, but a smaller wavelength than Radio Waves. Wavelengths, including ultra-short (very short) that is also called micro. From this was born the term microwave. These waves can’t be seen our eye because its wavelength (although very small compared to radio waves) is much larger than the wavelength of light (outside the visible light spectrum). Both are in the spectrum of electromagnetic waves. Light wavelengths ranging from 400-700 nm (1 nm = 10-9 m), while a long range microwave about 1-30 cm (1 cm = 10-9 m).
