While I was in Brazil , I decided that since I was near by- Why not go to Argentina to visit my family? My grandparents. My aunts. Uncles. And cousins. My whole family lives there. I hadn't gone in three years and in the back of my mind I had really been thinking about going. So while in Brazil I booked the cheapest flight possible to Mendoza , Argentina . Mendoza is a small province in Argentina near to the Andes Mountains where all of my family lives. I got a great price on the ticket, but the downside was I had a 12 hour delay in Chile . I was so bummed out. I was completely devastated. I would have to sit in an airport for 12 hours. Then it hit me. I could just go explore Santiago , the capital of Chile , while I waited. I was stoked again. My sister stayed behind. She hadn’t been in Brazil for eight years so naturally, she planned to stay with her family and her new Brazilian honey and make the most of her vacation.
