What to Eat When You Can't Eat

If you ever had to deal with, or is currently dealing with, Multiple Food Allergies, you know how frustrating it can be when it really seems like there’s nothing to eat. After the birth of my 4th child I got sick with strep throat a lot and was always on an antibiotic. Shortly after that I started to develop multiple food allergies or, “intolerance's”. I was never a very good cook and ashamed enough to say, I was the queen of making hamburger helpers. I only handled processed foods and if I wanted to eat I had to figure out something and figure it out quick because I was getting hungry and was sick of eating plain meat with raw veggies that had no flavor.

What really helped me and still is, are my 2 favorite cookbooks called “The Allergy Free Cookbook”, by Eileen Rhude Yoder, and the other book called, “The Complete Food Allergy Cookbook”, by Marilyn Gioannini.

These are just a couple of the many good food allergy cookbooks that's out there to be purchased. Amazon is a wonderful place to buy because they not only have good prices but you can decide if you wanna buy new or used. These books have finally given me a way to not only cook for my own needs, but I learned it’s not that hard to make meals or desserts from scratch for my family too. I love that I have learned to eat healthier and provide a nutritious meal for the ones I love. I gotta tell you it’s still frustrating not being able to eat the occasional burger and fries from the local McDonald's and I hate being allergic to multiple things, but if I look at the positive side I’ve learned a lot about cooking and it’s made me realize it’s not as hard as it looks! I hope whoever tries these books enjoy the wonderful recipes in them as much as I do! Stop by my website and check out My Web Cash Store for some real good savings!
