Last Saturday and Sunday, we celebrated the birthdays of my 3 friends from college: Nards, Dae, and Micko.
It's amazing how we were from different groups of friends back then in college, and now we're all together a few years later in another country, enjoying each other's company and reconnecting once again to build our friendship. And I must say, when we celebrate, we celebrate!

For Nardy's birthday, we celebrated at Mejico, a modern and hip Mexican restaurant, which serves one of the best sides selection ever!
At first, I thought she ordered too much, but we still managed to eat them all. There were 2-3 servings of each dish, and she ordered the following yummy dishes:
1) Guacamole with Plantain Chips
2) Beetroot (Tortilla) and Goat's Cheese
3) Chorizo Tacos
4) Hickory and Honey Smoked Brisket Tacos
5) Jalapeño Poppers
6) Corn Lollipops
7) Achiote Chicken
8) Adobo Lamp Rump
9) Sticky Squid Ink Octopus
Then we headed to the newest foodie spot in Sydney: Barangaroo Reserve.
We went to a really good gelato place called RivaReno, and I enjoyed their Cremino Rivareno.
We then ordered waffles and crepes, but I enjoyed their buttery crepes more!
The following day was another day for us. We headed to Tramsheds for Micko and Dae's celebration.
We went to the Butcher and the Farmer.
They ordered the following:
1) Charcuterie Board
2) Smoked Butternut Pumpkin Salad
3) Grilled Chicken Salad
4) Pork and Fennel Sausages
5) Wagyu Steak (big cut!!!) with Field Mushroom and Beef Jus Sauces
6) Chips

After this, we headed to a nearby cafe called Garcon, and had their Blackstar Pastry desserts and coffee.
Overall, it was an amazing weekend! It made me miss my college years with all the chikahan moments we had. And I'm definitely glad that they're here in Sydney with me, so it still feels like I'm home somehow.
Can't wait for this weekend! We're going HIGH TEA for our HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY!
