Day 3 – ups and downs

Weighing yourself daily has its pros and cons. It’s great to see progress on a regular basis to help keep yourself motivated, but inevitably, even when trying your hardest there will be days when you stay the same weight, or even put on slightly. Today is one of those days, and it’s not great when they come. I put on (wait for it), a whole quarter of a pound today! I’m still below the stone threshold I spoke of yesterday, but I don’t like being on a cycle where I’m going up … need to bring it back down!

There are things about today which will help me with my mission, and some that won’t. For the most part of the day I have a diet plan and as-at 2.30pm all is going well. I’m also playing badminton, so a good bit of exercise will help the cause. However, I’m due to go out for dinner to an open-mic night tonight with family and practically the only thing on the menu is Pizza. It’s either pizza or side salad. Tomorrow’s update might not be a pleasant one!

Hoping for some words of encouragement if you’re out there following. I think I’d stay better on track if I know you’re out there routing for me.
