Ooh... Hang in there, buddy!

The seeds came from this kind of sweet, Organic Tomatoes. We just cut it into smaller pieces and planted a couple of the pieces three days ago, not very deep into the potting soil (the rest of the slices we used for an omelet the next day)... And as you can see up top, one of the 'lil buggers sprouted this morning, yay!
